Even after reading the reviews on this place, I decided to give it a try. I wasn't in love with the re-fried beans but I ate everything else on my plate. I asked my server for some recommendations and ordered a bean and green chili burrito and the pork and avocado taco. Both were very enjoyable. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a nice dinner. I will be returning soon.

Wish we would have read the reviews before going. Probably the worst Mexican joint around. Bad service, bad food, bad atmosphere, and very expensive. Never going back.

If you like cafeteria type food, you must eat here! Disgusting food, and don't understand why their still in business. Stay away!

I should have trusted the reviews and not a recommendation from a co-worker. Agree with the One stars ratings as the lowest as I would not go back on a free meal coupon. I seriously think that we received the bottom of the bean mixture and the lard to bean ratio was 90-10%, I can't think of any other reason that my mouth was dry and could not be quenched after only one spoon of what they call beans. Wow, the reveiwes are accurate, tomato hot sauce as salsa, although it grows on you as the heat intensifies.
I can not believe they have been in business this long, they had to be better at one time, but avoid it at all cost.
My family refers to it as El Barf'ito now. -

Two words on El Burrito: Sucks Ass!!
The food sucks, I mean really sucks. The salsa tastes like ketchup with tabasco. My server was a rude little punk ass. To add further insult, the server decided to change the tip amount on my credit card and give himself a nice little bonus for the shittiest service I've every experienced. When I approached to owner a few days later, she was nonchalant about the fraudulent amount and when she sensed I was a few seconds from choking her out, she refunded my money.
Well, if you like nasty food, a dirty restaurant, and shitty service, then make the mistake and waste your money at El Burrito. Hopefully the health dept. will shut these bastards down.
